OUR PURPOSE
The Women's Ministry of Oak Grove Baptist Church seeks to empower women to grow together and to reach out together to others in the Spirit of Christ and to celebrate our sisters' personal growth for the glory of God.
OUR MISSION
· Gathering
women together in unity.
· Recreation and fun through fellowship.
· One in the Spirit ("That they may be one as we are one."
John 17:22).
· Working to keep our temples physically, emotionally, and spiritually
fit to the glory of God.
· To nurture, care, encourage, support, love, and serve each other.
· Holy Spirit filled women taught and led.
OUR VISION
We envision women
of faith growing together to become more spiritually, emotionally,
and physically stronger in Christ Jesus.
OUR GOALS
To promote the mission, vision, and goals of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
To help women grow spiritually by discipling them in God's word.
To help women feel loved, accepted, and nurtured.
To help and encourage women to discover, develop, and use their spiritual gifts.
To help women cope with daily pressures of life and equip them to fight spiritual battles through prayer, bible study, workshops, seminars, and large and small group activities.
To provide a safe positive climate for women to have fun, relaxation, and fellowship as they experience growth in services to Jesus Christ and his Body (the church).
